Dress Rehearsal
Because we had rented out the space(Stanley halls)we only
got to do a dress and tech run on the day. this was a stressful experience as we had to become accustomed to the space very quickly. with stanley halls being such a large space this also Increased the difficulty on the dress rehearsals.
We need to bring everything we have to the rehearsal. We
need to have courage in order to succeed or you won’t get anywhere in acting. The
entire cast has the capability to be distinction grade students but not all of
us are putting enough effort in. the rehearsals shouldn’t end at the end of the
lesson and the play should be on our minds at all times.
As an ensemble our commitment is fully
needed otherwise it won’t pull together. If one person is not working to the
best of their ability the rest of the cast will be effected as the audience
will be drawn to the person brining the whole performance down which is why it
is important we give 100% all the time.
